Brittney Guida, Barbie Burgemeier- Weather

Group D:

Syracuse, NY

y=4.115xsin(.503X+-2.079) +47.3245

Seattle, WA

y=11.687xsin(.541X+-2.345)+53.2606

Miami, FL

y=8.0204xsin(.4904X+-2.035)+75.7515

All 3 graphs look like a sin wave. The graph for Miami is higher than the others because they have average temps in 60s and 70s almost the whole year. Syracuse only gets that high around june-august, which is similar to forks. The graphs intersect around the time of april and may. The numbers stand for different parts of the equations. The equation of a sine regression is y=axsine(bX+c)+d. For the graphs x represents the temperature while y is the month during the year.

We like our temperture anywhere from mild to hot. Anything from 58 degrees and up is perfect. When traveling to Forks, WA we would visit from May to September. This time of the year the temperature are from 57 to 61 degrees. When traveling to Miami, FL you can visit anytime during the year, especially in April to October. Even in the cold winter months it's in the 60s.
