Jenny and Emily

Group A: Blink
y=ab^x
y=(4.30)(1.41)^x
y is the transistor count
a is the initial value of x which is 4.3
b is the positive growth factor which is 1.41
x is the date of introduction
We used the equation above and plugged in 20,000 as the y value.
2 billion transistors will be released in the year 2025.
We used the equation above again however we used the number 23,000 as the y value.
2.3 billion transistors will be realeased in the year 2025.
Our data refutes Moore's Law because our data doesn't double every two years. A graph that did double every two years would look much different. The equation would be y=2^x and in our data, the base isn't always 2.
